The Douglas County Fairgrounds annual Poker Craze Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament
is held each February as a fundraiser used for the Douglas County
Fairgrounds Complex facility maintenance and operating expenses. The
Douglas County Fairgrounds is now a SELF-SUFFICIENT County Department,
which means the Fairgrounds does not receive any county tax revenue to
operate. We are reliant on our events, sponsors and those that attend to
help us maintain and manage the fairgrounds facilities.
The annual Poker Craze is always a great evening with good food, top
prizes and fun for all in attendance. The tournament is conducted by a
professional tournament operator, with a number of prizes to be awarded,
including a TOP grand prize for the poker tournament champion.
